Whaea Kathryn’s Shout Out

Kia ora e te whānau,

It’s hard to believe we’ve reached the final term of the year — and, as always, Mokoia Intermediate is as busy as ever with wonderful opportunities and experiences for our tamariki.

This week we have our important Camp Information Evening on Wednesday night, for all parents and caregivers who are planning to attend any of the camps. Then next week, the first of our teams, Kaituna, head off on their adventure! We know they will have an incredible time and create lasting memories.

A huge thank you to all the parents and caregivers who have volunteered their time to support our camps. Your willingness to help makes these experiences possible, and we truly appreciate the energy and enthusiasm you bring to our school community.

As we move through the term, there’s still so much to look forward to — Battle of the Houses, our school Production, Prize giving, and Prom. It’s certainly shaping up to be an exciting and action-packed end to the year!

Our staff are working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly, and we are so grateful for the ongoing support of our whānau. I’d also like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that you are always welcome to attend, watch, and cheer on our tamariki during school events such as Haka Competitions, Battle of the Houses, and Athletics. It’s always wonderful to see our students light up when they spot familiar faces in the crowd.
